Is it at all possible to get American TV Service (like DirectTV or Dish Network) in Canada? Any way at all?

I find TV Stations in the US far better than the TV Stations in Canada. XY > Much Music, Cartoon Network > Teletoon, etc. Only problem is that I live in Canada so I can’t get these Channels with the Canadian TV Service Providers. Is there anything I can do in Canada to get these channels on my TV?

Why is it that Dish network will allow a person who is behind on payment to add programming but not remove it?

We have been trying for two months now to remove our premium packages, due to an unexpected illness. When I contacted Dish Network they told me that only people without past due payments may remove programs. I logged on to the web site and found that without any problems I was allowed to add programming. I would think that they would want to keep customers by giving them the option of removing programming when finances get tight. We have been paying what we can every week to catch up, but as long as we are being billed for services we no longer want, we will have a hard time catching up. As of today they have stopped our service, even though we made a payment yesterday. I just wanted to know if this situation has happened to anyone else and if someone knows a solution. I understand they are a money making company, but how can they make money when they choose to let people who wish to stay customers go, by not allowing them the cahnce to catch up.

My TV keeps changing channel on Dish network remote?

I have a Dish Network DVR and a normal Dish network box. On the TV #2 on both boxes, its like someone is controlling the channels while I am just sitting there. On TV #1 on the DVR keeps changing to channel 9 also. It’s kinda driving me nuts, I can’t watch TV straight. I am living in the basement and you can only see light through the windows, not what I’m watching.
