How do I connect my surround sound to my Dish Network reciever?

I also cant get my daughters DVD player to work on the second tv that doesnt have a reciever. Can anyone offer help? The Dish tech support site led me no where!

Dish network problem, TV is in black and white for some reason?

I have dishnetwork and my main TV is in black and white but when I play a DVD in the DVD player it is in color and my other TV is in color. All the channels come in clear and I have checked all the cables and they are secure. Any suggestions?
